PEMBINA WEST CO-OP SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Pembina West Co-op awards two $1,000 scholarships each year to grade 12 graduates in our local communities. Scholarships are awarded to students who embody Pembina West Co-op’s values of community, integrity, and respect.

Applicants must submit:

A completed application form
Two letters of reference from educators or community leaders who are not family members
A one to two page essay describing their community involvement and future goals

Preference is given to students with a connection to the Co-op; whether through employment or membership. Applicants must be enrolled in a full-time post secondary program leading to a certificate, diploma or degree at an accredited college or university in Canada. Apply Now! It's Back! Get ready to Fuel Good in Barrhead this fall!

On Tuesday, September 17th, Your Co-op Gas Bar will donate $0.05/L to a local charity, along with $1 from every Co-operative Coffee and Big Cool sold. Your Co-op also donates the supplies for a charitable BBQ, with all proceeds going to our charitable partner. Past partners have included The Chill Zone after school program, receiving $2393.57 in 2023, The COMPASS program from Blue Heron Support Services, receiving $3102.14 in 2022, and Barrhead Victim Services, receiving $2444.07 in 2021.

Applications will be accepted from May 1st to May 22nd, 2024. The applications will be reviewed by the Gas Bar and Member Relations teams and a successful applicant will be contacted by May 31st.

The Board of Directors sets the direction for your Co-op, and is made up of members like you. We are currently accepting nominations for election to your Co-op's Board of Directors. There are three seats on the Board of Directors up for election at our June 26, 2024 annual general meeting.
