Our Annual Meetings are a time to celebrate what we have accomplished together over the previous year, elect our Board of Directors, vote on bylaw amendments, share our financial statements, and answer member questions.
Our AGM has been scheduled for Thursday, September 9 in Barrhead at the Senior's Drop In Centre, 5437 49 Street. Registration will open at 6:30pm and the meeting will be called to order at 7:00pm. In consideration of the continuing pandemic, in order to facilitate appropriate distancing the meeting is open to members only.
Items for consideration include:
- Election of directors
- Vote to be held for a special resolution to amend the bylaws (proposed amendments as attached below)
- Appointment of an auditor
We will also have annual reports, directors, and management available in Mayerthorpe on Wednesday, September 8 between 10:00 and 2:00 at our grand-reopening event hosted at the newly renovated Mayerthorpe Co-op.
You are welcome to review our Annual Report, attached below, which we look forward to explaining in more detail when we gather together for the AGM.
We would also like to invite members interested in joining our Board of Directors to review and complete a nominations package to stand for election. You may find more details regarding becoming a Director here. Completed nominations packages must be submitted by August 26.
