The Barrhead Ag Society is a key fixture in our community when it comes to hosting events and investing in community infrastructure. Their Bablitz Hall was built in <> and hosts approximately <> events per year, but the potential and the need are both so much bigger! The space was not built with a full commercial kitchen, which has limited their ability to use the space to it's full potential. With very limited event space in Barrhead, these important upgrades will create another venue that is suitable for large gatherings with meals, such as weddings and conferences, while also improving the ability for the space to host community events. Upgrading the kitchen to meet Alberta Health standards as a commercial kitchen will also enable the space to serve the needs of caterers and other food businesses that need a commercial space to prepare their goods.

• WRA Finals Kickoff Community Builder BBQ — Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026 from 11am to 2pm downtown at the Barrhead Ford parking lot.
• WRA Finals Community Builder Breakfast — Friday, Sept. 18, 2026 from 8:30am to 10:30am at the Pembina West Co-op Home Centre.
• WRA Finals Rodeo Performances — Find the Co-op table during any of the rodeo performances to make your donation. Performances are indoors at the Barrhead Agrena.
